| Habitat ReStore Policies ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Pricing and Bargaining: We maintain a No Bargaining Policy because we believe Habitat ReStore prices to be fair and reasonable. The money generated from our sales provides direct support to Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville so that we may build homes for people who may not otherwise have one. If one of our staff or volunteers discounts an item for you, it will not be honored when you check out. The ReStore Manager and the ReStore Director may adjust prices at their discretion in the event of special sales, product damage, or overstock. Anything without a price tag, or not on a price list, is not for sale. Items are not for sale if they are in the Receiving Area or the Sold Area. Sold Items: Merchandise will only be held for 7 days! Habitat ReStore agrees to store your purchase at our location free of charge for 7 calendar days. Habitat ReStore shall not be construed as a bailee of the merchandise, and has no responsibility for your merchandise while it is on our premises. You bear all risk of loss. You agree that after the 7th calendar day, any merchandise that you have not picked up is deemed donated to Habitat ReStore, and may be resold or used by Habitat ReStore for any purpose. While you may repurchase the item for its posted price, you will receive no refund or credit in connection with the donation. Habitat ReStore will provide you with a donation receipt for any items donated under this agreement. If you are unable to pickup your purchase within 7 days, you may call ReStore before the end of the 7th calendar day and schedule delivery of your items within Jefferson County only for a fee of $50. Appliance Return Policy: Everything in the store is sold “As-Is”, except for electrical items or appliances that can not be tested in the store. Any electrical item or appliance (refrigerator, microwave, and stove) that does not function can be returned within 10 days for a store credit. All returns must be accompanied by a receipt and the item purchased. **ReStore reserves the right to re-test the appliance for functionality before accepting the return. Delivery: For your convenience, we now offer a delivery service. We will deliver within a 50 mile radius for a $50 fee. Below are policies the customer needs to be aware of: Delivery fee must be paid at time of scheduling. If we arrive to deliver your purchase on the day and time-frame scheduled and you are not home, we will return the merchandise to the store and you will not get a refund on your delivery fee. If we arrive to deliver your purchase and you do not have your receipt and/or sold tags, we will return the merchandise to the store and you will not get a refund. Our driver and delivery volunteers will bring the items into your home, but will not assemble, mount, attach, or hook up any item. Our driver and delivery volunteers will not disassemble items in order to get them into your door. If an item you have purchased will not fit through your door, you have the choice of them leaving the item outside your residence, or returning it to the store. If you choose for us to return the item to the store, we will give you a store credit for the delivery fee, but not for the item purchased. Our driver and delivery volunteers will do their best to place the items where you want them. However, you are responsible for final placement of any items we deliver. Our driver has the right to refuse to move items into any area deemed unsafe for our volunteers, or to your property. Our driver and delivery volunteers are not professional furniture movers. We will do our very best to protect your purchases and your home while your purchases are in transit. However, accidents do occur. By scheduling and paying for a delivery, you agree not to hold Habitat ReStore, Habitat for Humanity, it’s employee’s or volunteers liable for any damage done to your home or purchased item while said item is being moved. Loading Vehicles: ReStore reserves the right not to load a vehicle if it is deemed unsafe to do so, the staff member or volunteer has sole discretion in making this decision. ReStore and Habitat for Humanity assumes no responsibility for damages to customer purchases or vehicle while loading is taking place. ReStore will NOT load anything into the cab of a car or truck due to risk of damage to your vehicle’s interior. ReStore may help you load a truck bed, minivan, flatbed trailer, car trunk, or a hatchback. Donations: Habitat ReStore is happy to accept donations brought to the store during normal business hours as long as they meet our Acceptance Guidelines. Please see our Donations page for more information. Habitat for Humanity is a 501c3, not-for-profit organization. Donors can claim fair market value of items donated as a tax deduction. Pick Up Service: Habitat for Humanity is happy to provide a pickup service to our ReStore donors. Due to the rising costs associated with this service, we charge $10 per visit to come to your home and pickup donation. This minimal charge makes it possible for Habitat ReStore to continue offering this service. Payment can be made over the phone via credit or debit card at the time of scheduling, or the driver can accept cash or check when they arrive. All checks must include current address, phone number, driver’s license number, and date of birth. NO EXCEPTIONS. Children: Customers should use caution when shopping at ReStore. Children must be kept under strict adult supervision while in ReStore due to potential dangers associated with the products sold, such as broken glass, loose nails, etc. Pets: Pets must be carried by the owner at all times if brought into ReStore. Smoking: Habitat for Humanity maintains a strict No Smoking policy. ReStore reserves the right to refuse service to any customer. ReStore reserves to the right to reschedule pickups due to bad weather or road conditions. Customer vehicles are not allowed in the ReStore buildings. Customers are not allowed to use ReStore equipment such as ladders, forklifts or vehicles. For their safety, customers MUST wear shoes while shopping at ReStore. ALL SHOPLIFTERS WILL BE PROSECUTED |
